BOARD WARRANTY

Products are warranted to the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship for a period ONE year from the original purchase date. A copy of the original receipt must be included for validity of the ONE year warranty. If no receipt is included the manufacturing date will be used as the start of the warranty period.  Only products purchased from Authorized ICON Dealers will be honored. Warranty does NOT transfer to “secondhand” Byers.

Here’s what’s covered:
Lamination failure of top sheet, Base, Core, Edge, Sidewall and inserts. Core expansion and/or “pulling out” of the insert system with properly mounted bindings.

Here’s what’s not covered:
Damage or delaminating resulting from misuse, abuse, impact, or neglect. Rock damage and any other impact related damage, including normal wear and tear. Any damage caused by Handrails, Pressboxes, Wallrides or such man made “non snow” articles that are build from metal, wood, concrete or other such materials. Cosmetic issues including discolored graphics, lacquer cracks, top sheet dents or chips, edge oxidation. Base dimples in binding insert area. Board damage resulting from improper mounting of bindings, or the use of incorrect mounting hardware. Damage caused by any board modifications including defacing or altering the serial number. Damage caused by the use of solvents, adhesives or LocTite.

OUTERWEAR WARRANTY

Here’s what’s covered:
Faulty Zippers. Defective sewing. Broken bungee cords. Broken snaps and/or other closures.

Here’s what’s not covered:
Normal Wear and tear. Rips and tears that are caused by accident, negligence, and abuse. Material fading. Pilling of fabric materials (this includes pilling from Velcro tabs). Shrinking of a garment resulting from improper care. Reduction or loss of waterproofing resulting from improper care.

HOW DO I SEND MY PRODUCT FOR WARRANTY?

At very first contact your dealer about your defected product. Please make sure that you have read the warranty information before you contact your dealer. After inspected by the dealer they will then forward the product to our distributor for warranty inspection. If the product is covered by warranty you will receive a new product. Notice that in this case the defected product will not been returned. If the inspection shows that the warranty won’t cover your product in this case your product will be returned to you.

HOW TO GET SPONSORED BY ICON?

Even though we are not actively seeking for any new team riders at the moment it doesn’t mean that we wouldn´t been interested to find new talents to our team. If you think that you have what it takes to get sponsored by ICON please first contact your local ICON distributor about the sponsorship. As we all know a picture tells more that 1000 words so please make sure that before you contact us about the possible sponsorship you already have good photos, video footage, or contest results that you can show us. Please do not just write a list of tricks that you can do or so if you don´t have anything to show to back up your words.

ICON Snowboards was officially founded in Helsinki, Finland in the year 2000 by a group of long time snowboarders to reflect everything that Finnish snowboarding stands for: high performance, quality and style.

After 4 years of being part of a larger company, Icon Snowboards was set to become an independently owned company by its original creators and today ICON is run by its founding members

Even though ICON was founded already almost a decade ago the driving force behind ICON is still the same today as it was on the first day it was created: love and dedication for snowboarding.

Our Mission is not just to provide another product on the market but offer uniquely designed, high quality products to snowboarders worldwide. We focus to create and develop timeless yet progressive and modern designs that keep their style through the years to come instead just for one season. We keep our attention in the smallest details to ensure that each and every product performs and fits perfectly as they have been designed to do.
